Sweet Jesus, the last two days have been brutal. The heat in Cincinnati (oh yeah, I’m in Cincinnati for work this week) is disgusting. Were it not for air conditioning, I would be dead.

My meds seriously fuck with my heat tolerance. I can do maybe 15-20 minutes in this heat (it was 90° up here today) and then I need ten in the cold. My hotel room is set to Artic Blizzard, and it’s glorious. I sweated through a pair of jeans, waist to cuff, this morning. I had to swap them out when I got to the hotel for lunch.
Despite that, I have learned so much in two days. Measuring a motorcycle range for accuracy takes me a bit, but by Friday, I should be able to deal with it 30-45 minutes. I’m proud of myself for stepping into this role, and if I end up in it permanently, I think it will be the challenge my career needs.
Here’s hoping. Wish me luck.
